Our main character, Meghan, is an ICU nurse. One day a patient arrives barely alive after having jumped off a bridge. The blurb of the book seems to focus on the ICU patient and a witness that may have shocking details about the accident -- was it a jump, fall, push? However, the prologue opens with Meghan's daughter having been adducted by a unknown entity. I've enjoyed this author's works in the past and I'm definitely intrigued to see where this one goes and how everything fits together.
