As a nurse, I'm immediately hooked by a protagonist who is also a nurse as I can understand the fascination, the curiosity, the compartmentalizing and the compassion that is required in the job. Our first glimpse into Caitlin, as well as the sense there is something else going on with Meghan and the city itself with its string of beak ins and assaults immediately lends a sense of tension and guardedness to the story that I cannot wait to learn more of.
