I've heard of this author for a few years now and never had the opportunity to read any of her books so I was delighted to have the opportunity to read this excerpt. It was very interesting. I would have expected this novel (based on the excerpt) to be classified as suspense, so I also found it interesting that this novel was classified as a thriller.
