This is such a captivating story! I hooked from the moment she answered the phone. It is a mother's worst nightmare to know something is wrong with her child. That immediate fear hooked me, and continued to build as I read the first couple of chapters. Kubica managed to create character with so many layers from being a nurse, mother and person. There is so much depth here I cannot wait to read the rest of this book.
