Attention grabbing from the beginning & has me hooked already!
My first reaction upon reading this little snippet was I need more! We are immediately plunged into an intense situation in the prologue, which is what I crave in a thriller. I love when books are "all gas and no brake" and have you hooked from the beginning.
Another factor that makes me confident this is a book I will enjoy is the medical aspect. As a former ICU nurse, I immediately connected with the protagonist, Meghan, and am very intrigued to read more about what happens in this book!
The cover is gorgeous and I love how the bridge ties into the story!
