She Reigns is a wonderful book for one looking for comfort and solidarity amongst all the anxieties and fears that come from living a, well, a human life. Tarah-Lynn Saint-Elien's prose is accessible and relatable. She speaks as though talking with a close friend--the very best way (for me personally; I'm sure there are those who would disagree) to center a self help book. There's not much worse than someone who comes across as condescending! Thus, it makes She Reigns a very readable text. You won't feel alone here.
I appreciate that Saint-Elien doesn't just give solutions, but shares her own struggles, adding to the relatability of the book. There are also nice reflection questions and a link to her YouTube video within the text.
Keep in mind that She Reigns is a very Biblical-focused book. If you're not into discussions of Christianity/God, this isn't the book for you. The author is never preachy, but her faith is front and center of the help she's offering.
