The main thing I liked about this book was the writing style. The author has written it in such a way that it feels like she’s actually talking to you, having a conversation with you, like you would a friend. The tone throughout was friendly, making it easy to relate to Tarah-Lynn Saint-Elien. On top of the writing style, she includes a lot of her own experiences and examples from her own life to demonstrate the topics throughout the book. Again, this makes it really relatable. The questions at the end of the chapters were thought-provoking, guiding the reader on reflecting on their own life. My main issue with this book was that it deals with more generalized anxiety. The book doesn’t discuss how anxiety and fear can be a mental illness, and ways to cope with your mental illness. In that way anxiety can’t always be helped and stopped. Therefore, this book isn’t for everyone.
