I'll start by saying that the religious genre is not my cup of tea. However, I can appreciate good writing and even find inspiration in some religious works. This is not one of them. The writing just wasn't good, and it felt overwhelmingly pandering from the get-go. It just struck me as manipulative and cringe-worthy.I'm sure the book will find a religious reader audience, however, I just felt like the writing style was lacking, and that the author was trying to sell me something rather than help me make the most of my life. The cover doesn't really do anything for me, and I definitely wouldn't read more to see where else the book is headed.
