I rarely come across books where the author is so open and vulnerable about their personal feelings. Obviously authors tend to put their ideas and vulnerabilities in their writing but they’re typically masked by characters or made up names and places. I appreciate that she values the readers so much that she is willing to unpack her own journal entries to try to help people grow within themselves, their religion and their experiences.
