Shark’s Edge started out great for me. I immediately liked Abbigail. She’s the small business owner who has a secret crush on her catering client, Sebastian Shark - successful business man. Sebastian is your typical serious business man who doesn’t want to lose control but finds himself attracted to Abbigail no matter how much he tries to fight it. While that trope is used often, the writing style is entertaining and there’s a twist of a mystery that made this sound like a read that would keep me guessing. However, the story felt slow for me midway through the book and I found myself losing interest a bit. In the end everything picked up again and I enjoyed the book overall. Now I really want to know what happens next.
