Books like "Shark's Edge" are not my idea of a good time. Usually, on BookishFirst I try to give the book a go and see if maybe I will like it. But I didn't even get three pages into the excerpt before I just had to stop reading because it was just bad. The one-word sentences and then Abbi panicking over a wet dream about her client, no thank you.
