Sebastian Shark seems like a predictor. He grew up on the streets of LA and has built a kingdom in the city. He is planning on building a new, luxurious skyscraper. Abbigail is fulfilling a dream with her high end catering business. Shark and his business is her biggest client. Because of that she does her best to ignore the parks that seem to fly whenever she is in Shark's presence. It sounds like someone doesn't want Shark to be successful in his new business venture. Though the First Impression didn't include it, somehow Abbigail gets mixed up in the danger.
I enjoyed the alternating first person. Shark seems very domineering and Abbigail might be submissive. No idea how 'open door' this book is as I just read the first few chapters. So far I'm enjoying the story, dialogue and pacing and am interested in continuing.
