I wasn't sure what made me read the First Look of this book. The two stories hit me like a thunderbolt. Having grown up in the 70's, I always felt that I was inclusive of all people. These two stories made me sick to my stomach. While I may have looked at everyone as equal, experiences are not equal. I feel I need to renew my efforts to include everyone, and fight for everyone and their rights. I believe that this book should be required reading for everyone in high school. How else can e change the world?
