This just doesn't grab my attention. There is so much focus on descriptions, black, brown, white, red, blue, green.... waaaayyy too much description. The color of eyes. the color of skin. the color of clothing. It's just too much. I didn't get a feel for the characters, growth, or redemption of any kind.
