This is yet another book that I didn’t connect with. Something that seems to be happening more frequently. The beginning of the sneak peek was a little confusing but I got the basic premise. These two adults were on a date her African American him darker skinned. I didn’t like how he was speaking to her and was dismissive. That was probably the point of the story but I couldn’t get past his snotty attitude.
