Right from the first story I found the author’s writing style to be gripping and vibrant. The subject matter is heavy and pulls no punches in being full of involving self expression. My only problem is with the quick, almost too sudden ending to the first story which I’d still rate as five stars for how painfully relatable and well done it is. I hope that the rest of the stories run a little longer and feel more complete. Even if they don’t, I hope that finishing all of the stories will result in a more complete one being woven together by book’s end. There is great potential here.
