The first story tells of the failed relationship between a Zimbabwean woman and an American man, and the second tells the story of an undocumented Zimbabwean woman who is struggling to gain legal status.
The writing is excellent and you can truly hear the characters coming off the page. The stories are compelling and hold an entire range of emotions. I would read the rest of the book.
