Reading the first story up for grabs in this collection, it reminded me of another author more closer to my diaspora, Jhumpa Lahiri. Although she has kind of fallen outside of mainstream literature, her book "Unaccustomed Earth" featured a collection of stories regarding Indian culture clash with American values. "Send Her Back" appears to do the same thing, but with an even lesser explored minority, Zimbabweans.
