*Thank you to author, Ginny Myers Sain, and publsher for the copy of "Secrets So Deep" that this review is based on.

First off, love that cover! The cover is a great match for the story and immediately sets the tone for the book. It didn't take long for me to immerse myself in Avril's world at the Whisper Cover acting summer camp. I enjoyed Avril's friendship with Lex and romance with Cole. However, during the middle of the book I did feel like the relationship descriptions of Cole and Avril became really angsty teen repetitive. Also, I found myself skimming the visions/experiences paranormal portions of the book. For some reason, these visions just didn't seem to fit with the rest of the book or Avril character for me. I was glad when Avril's vision were explained, but I still struggled with this portion of the book.

Overall, think YA audience will enjoy!
