I love a good mystery and that is exactly what this book is. The plot of the book is so interesting. The reader tags along with Avril as she goes back to the location of her mothers death to discover what really happened. The fact that Avril can only remember bits of pieces from her mother's death add to the mystery and intrigue of the book. The book is written in act and scene format which I that was very unique and a good edition. Sometimes a book can captivate its reader from the first sentence and this book did that to me with the line, "I was five years old the night stars fell from the sky." This line propels the reader to continue reading to discover what this captivating sentence means. The writing of the book flows well and with the help of a very interesting and mysterious storyline, this book is a pretty fast read. This book is a great read for young adults and adults.
