Avril Vincent is a high-school theater student who wins a prestigious summer fellowship to Whisper Cove, a Connecticut haven that just happens to be the site of her mother's drowning death. Avril seems to be searching for memories of her mother and what happened that fateful night, but I suspect Whisper Cove has more in store for her.
The writing of this First Impression immediately sucked me in, with fully developed characters and a spooky setting. The jacket cover does a great job of setting the stage for the mystery. Can't wait to read more!
