I rarely read YA fiction, but this author's previous book, Dark and Shallow Lies, blew me away. I admit to being skeptical that this new book could be as good. Then I read the first line of this excerpt, and I knew without a doubt that I needed the book! Immediately atmospheric and intriguing, this one sucked me in and I can't wait to read the rest!
