The cover evokes a feeling of mystical beauty depicting the sea as both inviting and full of secrets. Avril’s search for information about her mother and the strange flashes of memories the setting of her last days intrigued me. I found the other characters of the camp to be a varied group obviously with reasons of their own for their journey to the exclusive drama camp. I do wish the narrative had been as atmospheric as the cover. While I usually enjoy a good ghost story the legend here just didn’t pull me in.
