The line of the last sentence of the first chapter "this is where I died" just immediately shocked the heck out of me, I screamed "what?". The cover and book itself does a really good job giving off summer mystery vibes. I read A dark and shallow lies by the author before and I loved it and I am very sure I will like this one too. I want to find out more about the mystery surrounding our MC and her mother.
