The first thing that grabbed my attention was the formatting of the chapters. It seems the book is separated into acts and each chapter is a scene, like a play. I am definitely interested in seeing if this formatting is related to the story at all. I also love the setting, and how there seems to be a paranormal aspect to the story. Very excited to hopefully read this!
