Spooky and atmospheric, this novel creates a sense of dread and mystery right from the beginning. Avril uses lyrical wording to describe her strange memory of the the day her mother died and is already questioning her reality as the story begins. Add in a haunting town ghost story set at the beach and a bunch of theater kids and I think this is going to be a good ride.
