I liked the style of writing full of description and information. What was nice was how immersive the writing was and the amount of time spent setting the scene and tone. The beginning is already catching and gets you wondering who the murderer may be. Because it is set in the beautiful Hawaii it will be interesting to see were the story takes us. Also there seems to be a lot of tension between the natives and the non indigenous groups, so that could make an interesting plot twist too. What the outcome of the death is unknown at this point but will certainly provide the reader with lots to think about throughout the reading. I think this will be great reading full of twists and turns with many possible outcomes.
