Saving Paradise initially sounded like a great book. I read fiction to be entertained and removed from the “real” world. At times this book did that; at others it was preaching about saving the environment. I understand this was a major part of the book, but the basically same paragraph was repeated many times. There were times when I couldn’t put down the book and times when I asked why I was reading the book and almost walked away from the book. I felt that the book ended very abruptly. It was like “okay, I’m done writing so let’s wrap things up.” I actually had to go back and skim through the beginning of the book to figure out who one of the villains was in the story. I received an copy of this book from BookishFirst in exchange for an honest review.
