Mike Bond's novel about wind power and corrupt politicians is somewhat unsurprising today. I love how he gets caught up in finding out about the death of Sylvia Gordon, a journalist only because he finds her beautiful. What is interesting is Mike Bond's description of Hawaii and her islands. He sprinkles Hawaiian dialect throughout the chapters which I find very interesting.

Pono Hawkins, the main character, seems like a weirdly likeable guy. When he receives false information, he should take that as a sign to catch out. Someone does not want the truth to be known and if they've killed once, what's to stop them from killing again!
