This book seems like it could go a couple of ways. It has the potential to teach a lot of people some really important and vital things, but it also could be the type of book that talks a whole lot about nothing. So far, I really like the writing style, but I did feel like I was getting a bit of an exposition dumb from the author. Maybe that's just a writing style, but personally it's not really my thing. I more enjoy when authors are subtle and slow with their exposition. I don't necessarily need to know everything about every setting and character within the first few chapters. That might just be a me thing though. I did really enjoy the way we as the readers could interpret our protagonist's reactions to her own memories and thoughts in real time, I thought that was a really good way for the author to give us information about the character. Overall, if you have an interest in this genre, I think this book could have a lot to offer in entertainment and also information.
