Not Sure What to Think of This One
So the premise appears to be exploring the relationship between a much older man and younger woman. I kind of expected a little buildup to the actual relationship, with the consequent reflection interspersed. But instead the author opts for immediate exposition in the first couple pages, which I feel cheapens the experience a bit. Still, the depth of emotion is commendable, since the author captures depression and cynicism mixed with nostalgia quite admirably.
The cover is a bit generic, and does not stand out. I feel that bolder colors or better imagery would have suited it better.
