After reading the blurb, it just did not get my attention. The cover doesn't even do much to show what this story may be about. It seems interesting at first with a young person getting into a relationship with a much older man after her father dips on spending the summer with her but then it flies into the future and I guess her explaining trauma? from that summer? I just don't get it and I did read a few pages of the first look and I just couldn't get into it. Maybe the writing is what is causing some confusion.
