The writing is spectacular and there is no denying that this concept is compelling, but I genuinely don’t think it’s the type of story that I’ll enjoy. I have no criticism for it and I’m sure it will be a hit with the right reader. The moment you throw “eroticism” into a synopsis, I know the book isn’t for me.
