I love that the protagonist in this story is a POC ( I believe I saw Iranian-American?) that we don't see a lot of. Right away I was drawn in by the writing. The way she describes herself at 17 "raw, restless, with a savage temperament," was beautiful. I think the premise of this novel is also very intuiting, and I am curious to get the whole story!
