I do like stories involving adults looking back on something that happened when they were younger, and this one covers the trauma that can result from a relationship with a power imbalance--also of interest. When it's straight literary fiction like this, though, for me writing style is of utmost importance and I have to say I wasn't too impressed. I would still give this book a shot; it might be better than I realize at the moment.
