Let's start off with the cover - it isn't impressive and it doesn't (to me) have anything to do with the story.

The book tends to lean a lot on socially accepted norms (for certain cultures), certain societal push-backs (agains those culture norms, for good reason), and acts a social awareness/awokeness story.

Those things are not bad at all - if that is what you're looking for in a book.

I am not, so this book isn't really for me.
