The cover is lovely and attention grabbing. After reading the excerpt, it seems the tone is going to be somber. The writing is beautiful and paints a wonderful image in my mind. I feel this novel will be and exploration of past traumas and the influences they have had. I’m hoping to see a deep friendship grow between Arezu and Ellie. More a women’s fiction novel and I’m finding myself wanting to see how she processes her trauma throughout the book.
