I love the writing, and the promise of reliving "the ugliest episode of (Arezu's) youth. The first chapter sketches complex characters, an irresistible tapestry of cultures, and a protagonist willing to look with mature eyes on the formidable events of her youth. I can't wait to read more, although share others dislike of the cover which seems quite incongruent with the story.
