Okay, to begin, the sentences are too convoluted. You don't have to stuff so much in one sentence. It irritates and distracts from the reading because you have to go back and check that you understand what is being described and if it's important. I do like the inclusion of Arezu's background and heritage. It doesn't seem gratuitous or a throwaway but instead it feels thoughtful, purposeful and crucial to the narrative. I love the cover. My only qualm is really with the synopsis of the story. The premise of Arezu having a relationship with a 40year old man only to return to the location of their affair years later and deal with her trauma from that relationship--maybe I've seen it too much lately but I'm tired of reading about these messed up relationships where older men prey on younger girls. Just not for me right now.
