Goodness, this was an uncomfortable read. Intense and very well written, but I am not sure I am in the proper headspace right now for a story like this. From this short first look, I can tell Savage Tongues will very likely be on a number of best of lists by the end of the year, and I hope to read it at some point down the line when I am in the right mood for a gritty, intense drama.
