It isn't hard to see that this beautiful work of art was produced by an award winning author. Through the protagonists own voice, this novel explores the consequences of violence against marginalized people and the loss of innocence. I can't wait to read how Arezu overcomes her demons or completely unravels when she returns to the place of her trauma.
