It's nothing new to have an older man and a younger woman be in a relationship, but I feel like this book had a new spin. I want to see more books from more diverse authors. I don't think I've read a lot of books with Iranian American main characters. To be honest, I don't know if I've ever read a book by an Iranian American. This book has main timelines that take place two decades apart. I would love to see how Arezu's summer shaped who she is two decades later.
