Although this isn't a genre I normally read or am drawn to, the writing is smart and pulls in the reader rather quickly.
I'm not a fan of HUGE AUTHOR NAMES on a cover and a so-so nearly non-existent title. The cover is usually what initially pulls me in, but this one is rather mundane. Perhaps with people/a person on the cover and the author's name being smaller print than the title, I'd be more inclined to pick it up.
