I'm really sad on my rating for this one. Saint X was one of my most anticipated books of the year but as a read it failed to keep my interest. The crime took forever to be solved and none, literally none, of the characters were likable for me. I didn't feel bad for the victim or her family or any of the suspects, so the switching points of view didn't help. The writing was far too literary for a who-dun-it type and not emotional enough for a poignant piece about loss or grief. Stick with the blurb on the back, that's all the excitement you're going to get. The story moves at a snail's pace and there is no character development throughout. I nearly DNF-ed about halfway and in the end wished I had.
