I received this book in a bookishfirst giveaway. The thing about this book is everything seemed very familiar. The story of Allison's disappearance on an island in the Caribbean the two boys working at the Resort. The Blond boy. It did not feel like a story I had not heard before. There were differences thrown in but still the whole premise did not feel unique. There were other characters that also really resembled real people I felt like I knew who the author was talking about for example the celebrity that arrived on the island with his younger girlfriend reminded me so much of George Clooney especially with the mention of him being from Kentucky. I don't know there was something about this book that just felt like to much familiarity with real life.
