The story starts out when Claire was only seven years old, and her family is vacationing on Saint X, a Caribbean island when her much older sister, Alison disappears. Fast forward to Claire as an adult and after an accidental encounter with one of the men who was originally suspected of murdering her sister, Claire is determined to find out the truth. Will the developing relationship with the men affect her quest for the truth?
The pacing of this book was so slow and the descriptions were long and arduous. I wanted to like it because I had read some good reviews, but unfortunately, it just didn’t work for me.
