Thanks to Bookishfirst and Celadon publishers for this ARC. It was an interesting book to say the least and one I would have never picked up if I hadn't won it from Bookishfirst. It was slow going in the beginning for me but it picked up slowly but surely and I ended up liking it better once it got to the middle of the book.

Claire (aka Emily later in the book) wants closure in her sister Alison' death on the island of Saint X on a family vacation when Alison was a freshman in high school and Claire was just 7. I wouldn't say Alison is a promiscuous girl but she had the looks -- blond hair, blue eyes, and a nice body. All the guys on the island just couldn't take their eyes off of her and she went to place with Edwin and Clive (aka Gogo), best friends since grade school. Noone really knows what happened the day that Alison went missing and the men were blamed for her death and they weren't charged with murder.

Years later Claire changes her name to Emily and moves to New York, happens to get into a cab, and guess who's the driver? Clive. That was a little too far-fetched for me -- in a big city of NY, and he happens to be her driver? She becomes obsessed with him and starts following him for closure and finally towards the end of the book the truth or what he knows that happened comes out but we really don't really knows what happened to Alison.

The last few pages were interesting to say the least.
