Saint X is a book that starts off full of description. The author describes the layout of the islands, the buildings, the beach, the people on the beach. It is all quite beautiful, but to me, it was a little much. For some readers, it will be the perfect amount of description. I would have preferred something more substantial than a volleyball game to occur in the first twelve pages.
