Probably not for me
There is a distance between the reader and the story that is keeping me from getting immersed - it's probably a combination of the third person storytelling, the highly descriptive imagery, and the repetitive use of metaphoric identifiers instead of names. I just felt completely detached reading this. I don't know if I would be able to get immersed into the story enough to care about the characters based on how this book is going so far. The imagery of the cover, however, is stellar. Very vivid and captivating. Would tempt many a reader.
