This author really captures the setting and scene of this novel in the first few pages. She beautifully describes this fictional island that is soon to be the face of a tragedy. Aside from it being a family vacation, I got major Natalee Holloway vibes from the main plot of the Alison's murder. I'll definitely be adding this to by TBR to find out how it ends.
